Cool Beans (the “Service”) is operated by Cool Bean Man LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use our website/app and when you connect your TikTok account.
1) Information we collect
A. Information you provide
Account/contact info: name (optional), email address, and any information you submit through forms or support requests.
Authentication tokens/IDs: if you connect TikTok, we receive authorization information necessary to access TikTok data you approve.
B. Information we receive from TikTok (only after you connect)
Depending on the permissions (scopes) you approve, we may receive:
TikTok account data: username/handle, user ID, profile photo, bio, and other profile fields made available by TikTok through the approved scopes.
Content/video data: recent video list and related metadata (e.g., captions, thumbnails, publish times, video URLs/IDs) made available through the approved scopes.
Insights/analytics (if enabled by your scopes): performance metrics that TikTok provides to you through the approved scopes.
We use this data to display your public profile and content on our Service and provide sharing and analytics features.
C. Automatically collected data
Device & log data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps.
Cookies & similar technologies: used for security, preferences, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings (some features may not work without them).
2) How we use information
We use information to:
Provide and operate the Service (including displaying your TikTok profile/videos and generating analytics)
Maintain security, prevent abuse/fraud, and debug issues
Improve features and user experience
Communicate with you (support, important service notices)
Comply with legal obligations

Your consent (e.g., connecting TikTok and authorizing scopes)

5) TikTok relationship and user controls
TikTok is a separate platform. When you connect, TikTok may collect and process data under TikTok’s own policies.
Disconnecting TikTok: You can disconnect TikTok inside Cool Beans (if available) or revoke access through your TikTok account settings/authorized apps. After revocation, we will no longer be able to access TikTok data via the API.
6) Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to:
provide the Service,
meet legal/accounting requirements,
resolve disputes, and
enforce agreements.
If you disconnect TikTok or delete your account, we will delete or de-identify TikTok-derived data and associated account data within a reasonable period unless legally required to keep it longer.
7) Data deletion requests
You may request deletion by emailing awkwardjmusic@gmail.com with the subject line “Cool Beans Data Deletion Request”.
Include the email you use with Cool Beans and (if applicable) your TikTok handle. We may request verification to protect your account. We will respond and complete deletion within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal requirements.
8) Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
access, correct, or delete your data
object to or restrict certain processing
request portability
withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

9) International transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.
10) Security

Cool Beans is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Cool Beans (the “Service”), operated by Cool Bean Man LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1) Eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent you have authority to bind that company.
2) The Service
Cool Beans helps creators connect their TikTok account to display public profile information and recent videos on our website/app for sharing and analytics. Features may change over time.
3) Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
4) TikTok connection and permissions
When you connect TikTok, you authorize us to access only the TikTok data permitted by the scopes you approve. You can revoke access at any time through TikTok settings or within the Service (if available). You agree you have the rights needed to connect and display the TikTok account/content you authorize.
5) Your content and permissions
You retain rights to your content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and process TikTok-derived content and metadata solely to provide the Service.
6) Prohibited use
You agree not to:
misuse the Service (fraud, harassment, unlawful activity)
attempt to access data not authorized to you
interfere with security features, scraping protections, or infrastructure
reverse engineer or disrupt the Service
7) Intellectual property
The Service, software, and branding (excluding your content) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law.
8) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or that analytics will be accurate in all cases.
9) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cool Bean Man LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits/data, arising from your use of the Service.
10) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security/legal reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
